Personality testing and evaluations
Personality testing involves a series of one or more evaluations that assess a variety of factors which may impact an individual’s internal world and daily functioning, and can assist with diagnosis and treatment planning. These evaluations consist of a variety of measures, including true or false questions, free-response questions, rating scales, creative drawing and projective storytelling tasks. Tests may include, but are not limited to:

-
Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory 2 (MMPI-2)
-
Bender Gestalt II
-
Inventory of Personality Organization (IPO)
-
House Tree Person (HTP)
MMP offers comprehensive personality testing for both children and adults. Testing is typically completed following an initial interview or when a clinician requests more information on a client. There are generally two appointments conducted; in the first appointment, the examiner meets with the client to conduct the assessments, and the second appointment is a feedback session in which the examiner goes over the results of the testing with the client.
Some insurance policies do not cover this testing, and any portions not covered are the
client's responsibility. We can only provide a quote from your insurance and cannot
guarantee coverage. Please give our office a call for more information on this process.
