He specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, with a particular focus on self-concept and self-esteem, interpersonal conflicts and relational dynamics, mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, and challenges related to emotional expression and communication skills. Shane’s clinical approach is rooted in his training as a psychodynamic psychotherapist, although he also incorporates techniques inspired by humanistic-existential and emotion-focused therapies into his practice. He is particularly interested in helping clients identify and understand the factors that influence how they think, feel, and relate to others. Shane works with clients to build insight, strengthen awareness, and develop healthy patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating.
